Can a Married Woman Really Go 11 Months Without Sex?

Can a Married Woman Really Go 11 Months Without Sex?

I’m a married man, and I’ll admit it — my pride can be a bit too much at times.

Whenever my wife and I have an argument, I don’t handle it well. I get angry. I stop eating her food. I shut her out completely, especially when it comes to intimacy. Sometimes for days… sometimes for a month or two. Since I’ve been seeing someone outside my marriage, the distance at home never really bothered me. Usually, she was the one who suffered. She would get sad, apologize, and beg me to be close to her again.

But the last time we fought, I cut everything off like I always do. Only this time, something was different.

After about a month, her behavior changed. She started smiling more. She looked happier… more confident. She stopped begging. She began dressing nicely, going to work, and coming back home in a great mood. As the months passed, she became more distant — almost indifferent toward me. She doesn’t try to get close anymore. Not even in bed.

As for me, I kept sulking, too proud to make the first move.

It’s been 11 months now since I’ve touched her… and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Now I’m starting to worry.

Is it possible she’s found someone else who makes her happy enough to ignore me? Can a woman really go 11 months without sex? I feel lost.

What should I do in this situation?
