Makeba, a 25-year-old young woman, has just gotten engaged to Kunde, a 30-year-old man.
The two live a quiet, peaceful life together in their small apartment in Douala. One day, Makeba gets a call from her best friend, Aziza, asking to come stay with her.
Even though Kunde isn’t comfortable with the idea, Makeba—who always sees the good in everyone—decides to welcome the woman she believes is her best friend into their home.
Aziza, 26, flirtatious and secretly jealous, arrives for what’s supposed to be a short visit. But during her stay, she keeps coming up with ways to seduce Kunde, driven by an unhealthy obsession with him.
Each time, Kunde pushes her away and urges Makeba to ask her to leave—without fully explaining what’s really going on.
After one too many attempts, Kunde finally manages to get Aziza out of the house. But Aziza isn’t done. Convinced that Makeba is the only reason Kunde won’t look her way, she decides to eliminate her. Hiding in the shadows, she carefully puts together a plan to destroy the couple.
Makeba, unaware of her friend’s dark intentions, tells Aziza about her pregnancy—despite Kunde asking her not to. That decision seals her fate.
Aziza sends poisoned apples to the woman who always treated her like a sister. This time, her cruel plan works. Makeba dies.
Heartbroken, Kunde is determined to make Aziza confess, with the help of his friend Kobe.
When Aziza’s crime is finally uncovered, she tries to run away to escape the police… but ends up getting hit by a car.
